Gribbles Veterinary Pathology is New Zealand's leading veterinary pathology provider with a team of 16 Veterinary Pathologists located in five dedicated veterinary laboratories across New Zealand providing diagnostic pathology services for livestock, companion animal veterinarians, university and research facilities, as well as zoo and wildlife organisations. Due to our customer-centric focus, Gribbles continues to achieve growth across our New Zealand business.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Veterinary Clinical Pathologist with a client-orientated approach and excellent communication skills for a permanent full or part-time position.
Primary duties include the evaluation and interpretation of haematology, cytology, clinical chemistry, endocrinology, urinalysis, serlogy, microbiology and molecular results. Provision of specialist advice and phone consultation to veterinary clients is also expected. Our supportive profession environment provides opportunities for further career development through continuing professional education and active participation in continuing education seminars for clients.
Essential to this position is a veterinary degree suitable for New Zealand registration, previous experience in diagnostic veterinary pathology and a demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality pathology service. Board certification by the ACVP/ECVCP or Fellowship of the ANZCVS is preferred, although board-eligible or other highly qualified applicants will also be considered.
