No AFFCO processing available for autumn bobby calves this season in Northland
The NZVA has been notified there will not be any AFFCO processing available for autumn bobby calves this season in Northland. Winter and spring bobby calf services will remain available due to higher volumes of calves at this time.
Bobby calf welfare is of paramount concern and therefore suitable and acceptable arrangements will need to be made. Plans should be on a farm by farm basis.
