Air New Zealand and Jet Star fly directly to Queenstown from New Zealand's main cities - Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch with connecting flights available from all other airports.

Important notes:
  • A number of flights travel via Christchurch making it a longer trip time
  • Flights in and out of Queenstown are limited with arrival and departing times generally within day light hours.

Getting to and from Queenstown Airport

Located in Frankton, the airport is and easy 10 minute drive from Queenstown’s town centre. If you don't have your own car, then a door to door taxi or shared ride shuttle service will get you to your destination hassle-free.
