About the course:  

  • Join us for an amazing day of hands-on learning at Wildbase, Massey University.
  • Build your skills and confidence with avian patients, and learn more to help our native wildlife.
  • Catch up with colleagues and share your wildlife stories.

In this course Pauline will be able to provide the theory of how to successfully nurse your avian patients and then work alongside you to practice those skills in a practical session.

This course includes catheter placement, fluid therapy, blood sampling, handling, stabilisation techniques and much more…..

Pauline has been working for Wildbase for 10 years and in that time has developed her skills to cater for a huge range of feathered and scaled friends.
