Wildlife Society of the NZVA Conference:

22 - 24 November 2019, Bushy Park Tarapuruhi Sanctuary, Kai Iwi.

Haere i roto te ao taiao -Journey into the natural world.

Whanganui will host this year's annual Wildlife Society Conference.

Bushy Park Tarapuruhi is a 100 hectare predator free native bird sanctuary set amongst pristine lowland forest about a half an hour drive from Whanganui.

Within the Bushy Park Tarapuruhi Sanctuary there are 3.4km of well-formed walking tracks throughout the forest providing easy all-weather access for visitors.

Local wildlife experts, veterinarians, conservationists and ecologists will share their experiences with an exciting line up of presentations, workshops and field trips.

The conference will bring together a diverse group of people working with wildlife, in the clinic or outdoors, providing life-long connections for support and enjoyment in this sphere. It promises to inspire, enthuse and equip veterinarians to work confidently with all types of wildlife.
