Industry Branch

Objectives of the Industry branch of the NZVA:

To advance the professional standards of Veterinarians engaged in any phase of industrial employment.
To encourage a closer relationship amongst Members, with other Members of the Veterinary profession and professional persons employed in the medical and allied professions.
To act as a body of expert representative opinion on appropriate matters of scientific, business and political concern.
To promote a forum for the free exchange of knowledge, ideas and opinions of mutual interest to members, within the bounds of individual corporate policy.
To inform industry of the contributions that Veterinarians and the Veterinary profession can make to their diversified operations.
To assist and advise industry on the employment standards for Veterinary professionals
