Virbac New Zealand Ltd is a subsidiary of Virbac Australia Pty Ltd. Virbac is a French-based multinational organisation specialising in the development and marketing of animal health products worldwide.
Virbac New Zealand has two trading divisions. The Veterinary Pharmaceutical Division distributes an extensive range of pharmaceuticals and OTC rural and equine products to the veterinary and equine markets. The Petcare Division distributes a range of premium pet food diets and a pet accessory range.
Well known brands distributed by Virbac New Zealand Ltd are Equimax for horses, Endogard worming tablets, Canigen and Feligen small animal vaccines, Lepto 3 Way for cattle, HeadStart, Revive and Diarrest, Alizin, Ovastim for sheep and Rilexine Palatable tablets for dogs and cats.
