About this course
Ultrasonic evaluation of the abdomen is becoming a standard part of the diagnostic work up for clinical cases. A lot of practices own or have access to an ultrasound machine, however many practitioners struggle with abdominal ultrasonography – eitherpreparing or interpreting it. This workshop will improve your knowledge, skill and confidence in a fun and interactive environment and the small class size will maxmise your time with the tutors.
This two-day workshop comprises of lectures and hands-on scanning labs. Lectures will be fun and interactive, encouraging participation of the group. Hands-on sessions consist of demonstrations for each system, followed by supervised sessions.

Companion animal vets who are familiar with and use ultrasound machinery who wish to refine their abdominal ultrasound techniques.
By the end of this workshop you’ll increase your confidence in differentiating normal from abnormal appearance of multiple organ structures as well as differential diagnoses of common soft tissue diseases. You’ll also increase your technical skills with hands-on instruction by board certified radiologists.
