Our goals

• Support and represent the members of our society.

• To provide opportunities for members to socialise and communicate together.

• Foster a high standard of animal care and welfare in Auckland.

• Provide opportunities for members to improve their knowledge and skills.

• To aid in the dissemination of knowledge within our profession.

Current membership

• Auckland has over 100 practices

• We currently have approximately 240 members

Membership entitlements

• Attendance at our many branch meetings. Branch meetings are combined with talks from some of the leading veterinary specialists in New Zealand and occasionally overseas.

• Local representation within the New Zealand Veterinary Association.

• Membership of the AVS is included with membership of the NZVA if you ticked the AVS box when renewing your NZVA sub.
