Our role
The NZVA’s mission is to promote excellence in the veterinary profession through its service to and on behalf of its members.
We are committed to promoting the high skills and standards of the New Zealand veterinary profession – and ensuring the profession's contribution to the country's economy and animal health and welfare are recognised and valued by key stakeholders and influencers, and the public.
Our vision is to represent a united veterinary profession that’s recognised and respected nationally and internationally.
We’re dedicated to keeping veterinarians in touch. We help our members stay abreast of industry changes and we encourage them to network, talk to and learn from each other.
The NZVA is passionate about increasing veterinarians' knowledge for the good of the industry. We strive to provide a range of education and professional development opportunities for our members.
